It’s Time to Write as Free as You Are
You can say what crazy you like

Are you are a writer?
Are you fretting because not enough important people are noticing your work?
Are the publications turning you down?
Has Medium neglected to curate you?
Or maybe you’re hanging out by your laptop, waiting for those claps to come a-rolling.
Guess what? It’s a great thing you’re being ignored. It means you have some time and space to say some real things.
You’re free
You are free to say whatever you’d like, without concern for the ‘gatekeepers.’ That game is over. It’s gone bye-bye, like Kansas.
Sayonara. Caput. And it’s… gone.
Liberation is the only game in town. This is the Creative Wild West. Never have readers and writers been this intimate. There are none of the traditional barriers to communication.
You don’t have to wait for permission from someone with the right degree and a superior attitiude to say what you need to say.
And you are a writer, dammit — a communicator. So be one, loud and true. Speak your truth, as they like to say in certain circles.
Say what you mean. Mean what you say.
From my soul to yours
I’ll tell you a few of the things I mean.
I used to be so good. Learning about formatting, tags, SEO, and how to research trending topics. How to write eye-catching headlines without being clickbait. What I need to do to build my platform and give value.
How to stay inside the prescribed lines.
I couldn’t do it anymore. I had to break free.
I need to talk directly to your soul from mine. I don’t know who you are. But I know you’re my reader. You’re my tribe, and I’m yours.
I thank you for the bottom of my heart for being here. For honouring me by listening to me.
I came into this life to speak to you. That is my greatest purpose.
What’s yours?
You are not alone
I know you’ve had your struggles. Maybe you’re struggling now.
Life is so full of ups and downs, isn’t it? It’s rich and strange and keeps on asking us to let go. It demands we grow.
I want to see you succeed in this weird but wonderful experience we call life. To prosper and truly thrive.
I want you to know I’m here for you. I’m rooting for you. You are not alone.
I bet you and I have been through a million and one of the same things. I bet there are far more things we have in common than we have different from each other.
Report the truth
Does the above sound crazy? Far-fetched? Too much?
Well, it’s true. And my job is to report the truth as I see it.
As I feel it.
And I do feel it. From my heart.
Whatever you do, write authentically. No matter who’s listening — say something true.
I wish you everything. Thank you for reading.

thank you for this. yesterday I was to read poetry in some poetry festival. they didn't call me up, I felt disappointed. now I know it wasn't meant for me.
I want to write more but lately I have more blocks than creative bursts.
sometimes I dream of travelling the world. reading poetry.
Inspiring challenge. I wrote this this morning, may do "how we live now" vignettes.
==>At the parking-lot entrance of my usual market, the produce merchants have constructed a large attractive mounded display of hay bales and fresh, colorful pumpkins, advertising the plentiful seasonal merchandise for sale.
When checking out today, I asked the young grocery clerk if she was enjoying the fine autumn weather. She said yes, it made her want to take a trip somewhere she could pick out her own pumpkin. She was going to look on the internet to find a place where they let you do that.<==
