Why You Should Have a Season of Yes
Say yes to everything! Yes, that's right! It's time to get your yes on, baby!

Does life ever feel flat? Do you feel you haven’t made the progress in life you’d like? Do you wish for more?
More excitement. More joy. More success. More money. Just more.
If you’re unsatisfied, uninspired, bored, disappointed… it could be time to get your yes on.
How the ‘Season of Yes’ was born
The Yes Guy looked a lot like the guy in the picture above. I used to run into him at parties and social events when I lived in Austin, Texas. Whenever he saw me, he would put his hands up in the air and say, “Yes!!!” And I would do it back. We never - that I remember - said anything else to each other.
It was fun. One of those silly, humorous things you do when you’re in your early 20s. It wasn’t a big deal, but it stayed with me.
And from that, I invented, “The Season of Yes.”
What are The Season of Yes rules?
Pick a period of time - a day, a week, a month - where you say yes!!! to everything that comes your way. Invitations, suggestions, prompts, ideas. Someone says, Do you want to come for a walk? You say, yes!!! and you do it. Someone says, Watch this video. And you say yes!!! and you do it.
You randomly notice an event - perhaps it’s a pottery class, or a vintage lawn-mower group gathering, or a rare truffle tasting evening - and you actually go to it. You say, yes!!!
You don’t just accept it. You accept it with enthusiasm, whatever it is.
Of course, if it’s something boundary invading that makes you uncomfortable, or it’s dangerous or illegal or would hurt someone - you don’t say yes. Common sense is required.
But, overall, the point is to get into yes!!! mode. Enthusiastic receiving mode.
What’s Going to Happen?
That’s for you to find out. It all depends on whether or not you are going to take my suggestion and say, yes!!!

I had good friend that was born in Austin, sadly he passed, however he was like your Yes man, really fun to be with and his energy lite up wherever he was. I do miss him, however that’s just my ego, the reality is he did his job here and went on to better places...Saying Yes! 🙏✨
