Some Thoughts on Healing
Trauma remerges until it is healed. Health is a frequency.
Trauma is deeply painful. It can be a festering wound which never stops throbbing. The pain may weave itself like a corrosive thread through the fabric of our lives. We may bury it in a million ways, but it always reemerges, begging to be healed.
Trauma is a state of being 'frozen in time'. The soul, the mind, the emotions, and the body, cannot let go of the moment of original pain and keep finding ways to relieve it.
Subconsciously, the sufferer may seek out 'triggers’. This is a desperate attempt to return to the original moment of trauma and thereby heal the original wound. This is why we marry the person who reminds us of our abusive parent or replicates their behaviours.
The forms our remerged wounding takes are as varied as people, but the underly energetic patterning is universal: fear, helplessness, hurt, shame, anger.
Too many spend their lives locked into a loop of pain and depression caused by abuse in their childhoods. It rips our heart and life apart and causes us to suffer much longer than we have to.
The physical is a reflection
The physical body is a reflection of our metaphysical reality. Physical illness or injury may stem from a deeply subconscious desire to return to a state of infancy or early childhood.
The emotional pain experienced during those years cries out to be acknowledged and healed. Trauma may present itself as dysfunctional relationships, poverty, addiction, dramas, criminal behaviour, mental illness, isolation, or depression. The list is endless.
Healing
We need to move out of the frequency of begging, 'Please, please can I be healed?' and 'Why am I so sick and unhappy, and what on earth do I do to be well?' to the energy of 'I am a healthy, well person.' This may feel too painful right now to imagine and accept completely. It may stir up anger, frustration or fear of bitter disappointment. So start small if that's the case.
If you have a healthy, happy two minutes, notice it and be grateful for it. Say, ‘I am a healthy, well-person! I am a happy person! Thank you!’ If you eat something and have the appetite for it, say, ‘Thank you! I am a healthy, well person!’
Have a name for the new, healed Timeline you are moving into now. As many of you know, my name is 'Golden Bell'. Perhaps yours is 'Joy Glory'. Everytime anything good happens - however tiny - you can say, ‘Joy Glory!’ Say it with as much gratitude and enthusiasm as you can muster. You have a glass of water that tastes good. Say, ‘Thank you! Joy Glory!’ If you see the sun shining, say, ‘Joy Glory! Thank you!’ If you have one breath that feels calm and full, say, ‘Thank you! Joy Glory!’
Amplify gratitude and beauty
Surround yourself with 'healthy' things - fresh flowers, plants, uplifting artwork, etc. Pull in their energy. Breathe in their healthy energy. Breathe in the sunshine, the blue sky, the beautiful colours. Put some copies of your favourite wholesome children's books around the place and breathe in their nourishing energy. Get some oranges even if you don't want to eat them.
Train your mind to tune into the energy of health using the energetic amplifier of gratitude.
Most of all, breathe
Take a moment to gently observe the rise and fall of your breath. Don't try to control or change your breathing. Be with it. When we tune into the breath, we tune into the natural movement of Spirit. We tune into the Infinite Divine All.
Follow the breath into the Silence. In the Silence, we find our Self. And in our Self, we find healing. Healing is a frequency we can tune into.
And healing is always ours, now, in this One Sacred Moment.
