Musings on Fashion
Some random thoughts
The trend for drab and 'neutral' colours in our clothing and homes may be part of the anti-magic agenda. We all know how powerful colour can be.
Handbags are a vulnerability-signalling item. They are a woman's way of saying, 'I need male protection because I don't have full use of my hands.' They have a place. I quite like them. But a Warrior should have her hands free and be ready to use them.
High-heeled shoes also signal vulnerability and the need for the protection of a man. Obviously, no one can run away from a predator in them. This is why they are considered sexy. They have their place. Again. I quite like them. But they are absurd, and they suppress Foot Magic.
The fashion for men to be clean-shaven and the pressure to look young may be part of an agenda to keep us immature. If we're immature, we're more easily controlled.
Consider what we want our perfume to do for us.
Does it make us smell like flowers, attracting pollinators or food, attracting predators?
Does it make us smell like rotting meat, attracting vile energies?
Or fertile, attracting sexual attention?
Or wealthy, signalling status?
Clothes shopping can be powerful energy work, especially if there is a magical shop assistant. Online shopping doesn't have the same power.
I reckon I have all the shoes and clothes I need to last the rest of my life. I'd be fine if I didn't buy another thing, apart from socks and underwear. I don't need to buy any more jewellery or handbags. I find this a liberating thought.
Cosmetics are another con. One jar of coconut oil can be used as toothpaste, shampoo, and moisturiser and last a few months. I'm not saying I do this or that you should. I'm pointing out how little we need compared to what we are taught we need. Same with clothing if you buy the right clothes.

And a second look at all the "hair" distraction! I'm longing for a very light-weight open-work face-framing headband or snood that overrides coloring, scheduled cuts, "do" 's, competitive head-tossing, whatever. Suitable everywhere outside home.
Hair that's clean, contained, and as healthy as possible. Our ancestors as per art history had some ideas. Simple freedom-with-beauty, would be the magic I pursue.
