Welcome to the home of radical surprises.
We’re moving through a field of possible timelines. We may believe that our lives are “just how things are.” But our timelines are held in place by repetition. Loops. The same thoughts, reactions, choices, worn into a groove so deep it starts to look like fate.
Self-surprise is how we dissolve our own loops and move into greater freedom.
A surprising action does deep metaphysical work. It disrupts the frequency we’ve been broadcasting. It interrupts the loop long enough for a different potentiality to become available. This isn’t about forcing change, or applying discipline. It’s about loosening our grip on the one narrow track we’ve been reinforcing.
The field doesn’t require a grand gesture to shift. A single changed choice can ripple outward in ways the linear mind can’t trace. It might be a different route home, or an unplanned encounter. One moment where we act unlike ourself. We’re not rearranging one afternoon — we’re shifting the whole trajectory of our experience. Small doesn’t mean minor. Small is often exactly where the loop is thinnest, easiest to break.
The brain runs on habit. Once a pattern is learned, it stops requiring conscious attention. We drop into autopilot. New or unexpected experience snaps us back into the present moment. And the present moment is the only place where growth can happen.
The 30-Day LifeUnloop Challenge
The challenge gives structure, inspiration, and daily encouragement to keep surprising ourselves. It’s done alone. Thirty days, just you and the loops you’re dissolving. You choose your own surprises, you feel what shifts. You answer only to yourself.
It’s unlocked as part of the paid tier here on the Substack, for those ready for deeper work. There are 30 posts, one for each day. Each has an inspirational art video, a theme, and a list of things you can do to surprise yourself. Choose one from the list, or invent your own.
These are things people have said about past LifeUnloop Challenges.

— Esi SemenyaYou are pure joy and this loop break challenge was such a blessing to me. I purged a lot of items that were weighing me down emotionally and will continue to move through my house, freeing myself of similar anchors. I spent quite some time learning what brings me peace, considering what I can do create more good in the world, and researched some interesting topics I’d have otherwise “not had time” to explore. You continue to help me grow every day and I am so, so grateful to you.

I met Pippa this way- her first Loop Break years ago. They are sweet, doable, and impactful. I still casually loop break all these years later and will join again.
