13 Rules for the Realized

An antidote to Saul Alinksy’s ‘Rules for Radicals’

Rule 1: Spirit is the only true power.

Alinksy’s Rule = "Power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have."

RULE 2: Spirit is the only expert.

Alinksy’s Rule = "Never go outside the expertise of your people."

RULE 3: We have no expertise but Spirit’s.

Alinksy’s Rule = "Whenever possible go outside the expertise of the enemy."

RULE 4: We recognise no rules but Spirit’s.

Alinksy’s Rule = "Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules."

RULE 5: Ridicule is a frequency that is transmuted and deflected through awareness of the indwelling Spirit.

Alinksy’s Rule = "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon. There is no defense. It is almost impossible to counterattack ridicule. Also it infuriates the opposition, who then react to your advantage."

RULE 6: There is no fun to be had in attacking us if we give zero energy in response.

Alinksy’s Rule = "A good tactic is one your people enjoy."

RULE 7: Only Love is creative, so the Realized will always be more creative.

Alinksy’s Rule = "A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag."

RULE 8: Pressure that meets no resistance only wears out the attacker.

Alinksy’s Rule = "Keep the pressure on."

RULE 9: Fear cannot be used against us because our safety lies in Spirit.

Alinksy’s Rule = "The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself."

RULE 10: In Spirit lies our strength.

Alinksy’s Rule = "The major premise for tactics is the development of operations that will maintain a constant pressure upon the opposition."

RULE 11: Negativity is transmuted through acceptance and awareness of Spirit.

Alinksy’s Rule = "If you push a negative hard and deep enough it will break through into its counterside; this is based on the principle that every positive has its negative."

RULE 12: There can be no compromise with less than Love.

Alinksy’s Rule = "The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative."

RULE 13: Our support network is Spirit so we cannot be isolated.

Alinksy’s Rule = "Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it."
